DESCRIPTION:Vibe First\, Swipe Later: Pride Edition\n\nA Conscious Queer Social for Slow\, Intentional Connection\n\nVibe First\, Swipe Later: Pride Edition is a conscious queer social created for LGBTQ+ singles who want to meet others in a way that feels warm\, respectful\, playful and deeply human.\n\nIn a world where dating can often feel fast\, surface-level\, or performance-based\, this event invites you to slow down and connect with more presence. Conscious dating is about noticing how you feel around someone\, being honest about what you are looking for\, respecting your own boundaries\, and meeting others with openness\, curiosity and care.\n\nThis is not speed dating.\nIt is not matchmaking.\nAnd it is definitely not about performing\, impressing\, or forcing chemistry.\n\nInstead\, this is a guided social experience designed to help people connect naturally through light-hearted games\, thoughtful prompts\, small-group conversations and gentle facilitation. You will get to meet others beyond the usual “What do you do?” small talk\, while still keeping the atmosphere relaxed\, fun and social-anxiety-friendly.\n\nIn line with PinkFest 2026’s theme\, The Power of Together\, this event celebrates the beauty of queer connection\, chosen community\, and the courage it takes to show up as yourself.\n\nWhether you are looking to date\, explore new connections\, make queer friends\, or simply practise being in a more intentional social space\, you are welcome here.\n\nExpect a session of:\n&#x2728\; Light icebreakers to ease everyone in\n&#x2728\; Prompt-based games\n&#x2728\; Small-group rotations throughout so you meet more than one circle\n&#x2728\; Gentle conversation starters\n&#x2728\; A respectful\, inclusive space where there is no pressure to “match”\n&#x2728\; A chance to leave with new conversations\, new possibilities\, and maybe even a new spark\n\nFacilitated by Lou\, Psychotherapist and Omsira Barry\, Peak States Therapist &amp\; Soul Consciousness Coach.\n\nThis event is designed for people who want more than swiping\, more than surface-level attraction\, and more than awkward first-date energy.
